Ingredients:
Filling:
6 Granny Smith Apples
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
Crust:
3 or 4 Slices of White Bread
2 TBSP Plain Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Butter
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 C.
- Core all 6 apples and cut them into 8 wedges, then cut the wedges into small, thin slices and place them into a medium bowl.
- Add brown sugar and cinnamon to the bowl and mix well.
- Spray an 8x8 square baking pan with oil and add apple mixture. Spread evenly in the pan.
- Melt butter on low heat and set aside.
- In another medium bowl, break the bread into small pieces (about the side of tip of your finger).
- Add flour, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Then add melted butter slowly while mixing. Keep mixing until all ingredients are wet.
- Pour the bread mixture over the apple mixture and spread it evenly.
- Bake for about 30 minutes.
